Relicuf DX Syrup comes in an Amber color Bottle packing with proper Relicuf branding on it. It is necessary to check the logo with “Relicuf DX '' in a silver strip on the label and back to identify the original Relicuf DX Syrup.

Relicuf DX syrup is indicated for the treatment of dry, irritating, disturbing cough in allergic or infective conditions of the respiratory passage, e.g., sinusitis, hay fever, pharyngitis, acute bronchitis, tuberculosis, and tropical eosinophilia.

Relicuf DX Syrup contains Chlorphenamine Maleate and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide. Chlorphenamine Maleate blocks the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide works by blocking the transmission of nerve signals from the cough center in the brain to the muscles that produce cough. Thus, decreasing the urge to cough.

Relicuf DX Syrup 100 ml may be used to relieve allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, throat irritation, or watery eyes. Relicuf DX Syrup contains Chlorphenamine Maleate, an anti-allergic drug that works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions.

Relicuf DX Syrup may or may not cause dry mouth as a temporary side effect in some people. It is not necessary for everyone taking Relicuf DX Syrup to experience this side effect. However, to avoid such side effects, drink plenty of water, regularly rinse your mouth, practice good oral hygiene and suck on sugarless candy. You are recommended to take Relicuf DX Syrup for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. However, if the symptoms persist or worsen even after one week of using Relicuf DX Syrup, please consult your doctor.

It is advised not to stop taking Relicuf DX Syrup without consulting your doctor as it may worsen the cough or cause recurring symptoms. Therefore, take Relicuf DX Syrup for as long as your doctor has prescribed it, and if you experience any difficulty while taking Relicuf DX Syrup, please consult your doctor.

Relicuf DX SYRUP is considered safe at doses prescribed by the physician. However, it might cause a few side effects, such as headaches, dizziness, abdominal discomfort, and fatigue, in some individuals. Contact your doctor if they bother you.

Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking Relicuf DX SYRUP, as it may increase the risk of side effects.

Relicuf DX SYRUP is not recommended for use in patients with or at risk of developing respiratory failure (Ex. chronic obstructive airways disease, pneumonia, or an exacerbation of asthma), confusion, or rare hereditary problems like fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, and sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency. Consult a doctor before taking it.

Patients may or may not experience the side effects. If yes then the common side effects of this medicine are sedation, somnolence, disturbance in attention, abnormal coordination, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort, and fatigue. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.

Relicuf DX SYRUP may cause sleepiness. Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operating any machines while you are feeling sleepy. Do not consume alcohol, as it can aggravate your sleepiness. Contact your doctor if your sleepiness does not improve.
